Linkedin to be integrated into Microsoft Office

Posted by:

The news arrived on Linkedin’s blog, that the next version of Microsoft Office will provide a one click integration with Linkedin.

This is another major development to add to the recent Linkedin redesign and the dropping of close connections with Twitter.

This could be significant, as your Linkedin profile information, updates and photos will now be brought directly into Outlook when someone emails you. Some may find that a little intimidating, but it underlines the growing breadth of information which the social networks are sharing.

It might be a good time to either update your profile or to adjust your privacy settings.

Does the amount of information being shared worry you, let us know in the comments below?
